The world is an amazing place. When I was a child, I wrote fictional stories, based on my experiences. I wanted to show everyone what was out there, if they would just look. Now that I am an adult, and a journalist, I have kept up the fiction, but I also write true stories, told to me by people who have lived amazing lives. I take pictures of the world around us, because I want to be able to show people, and say “Wow, isn’t that something?”
This is not to say there is not ugliness in the world; ugliness takes up a large portion of what is out there. But ugliness can be amazing, too. And if we see everything there is to see, maybe we can correct the things that are wrong, just as we marvel at the things that are right.
Come with me; you would be surprised at what you can find, if you just open your eyes.
